Batavia, Ohio
Batavia High School had gone over 20 years without tennis courts on the high school campus. Then with the partnership of the Nau Family, the dream became a reality. Batavia constructed three new acrylic-coated asphalt tennis courts. The courts are grass green and forest green to match the Bulldogs school colors. Special consideration was given to the drainage designed into the courts to keep the wet soils from causing premature deterioration of the courts. For the convenience of the athletes and ease of spectator viewing, cut corners and a lowered fence were incorporated.
