Grove City, Ohio
Over the last two years, Sportworks Design assisted Grove City High School in converting two natural grass fields into synthetic turf. This work included both survey and civil engineering services.
In 2020 the infield of the baseball field and bullpens were converted from natural grass to synthetic turf. This project was a part of a more extensive transformation of the baseball facility, with new dugouts, backstop wall, and netting.
In 2021 the natural grass stadium field was converted to synthetic turf. This field is used for football and soccer, with the potential for men’s and women’s lacrosse to be added in the future. The stadium project included new fencing, a band bleacher pad, goal posts, field goal netting, electric and water availability on the field. Stormwater management was designed under the synthetic turf carpet in the stone base void space.
