Over a six year time period, Sportworks Design helped to completely transform the Miami Trace Athletic Complex. Sportworks provided all the civil engineering and sports design for a new baseball and softball complex, a field house at the north end of the stadium, a new track surface, a synthetic turf field with shock pad and sustainable infill, track and field events, 5 tennis courts with high performance subsurface drainage and spectator seating, a new concession restroom building for the main stadium, new homeside spectator seating and pressbox, and the legendary Panther Alley. A new locker room located at the stadium is still in the planning stages.
The project was a American Sports Builders Association 2019 Award Winner.
