Milford, Ohio
As civil engineer for the new $30 million dollar expansion of the existing Milford High School, Sportworks Design was responsible for close coordination with the Owner and the jurisdiction to help ensure a smooth construction project, ultimately minimizing change orders and RFI’s. The $30 million expansion to the existing Milford High School included a new freshman wing, new cafeteria, loading dock, and two new entry points into the school. Kleingers’ experience with athletic complexes proved crucial in the design of the new varsity baseball and softball complex—including practice fields, enhancements to the soccer stadium, and new tennis courts. The project also included untangling a complicated network of existing utilities, a new sanitary lift station, and a new 12” public water main extension along Eagle’s Way.
