Dayton, Ohio
The Kleingers Group, operating as Sportworks Design, has been at the forefront in providing advanced surveying, site civil, and sports engineering design services. We were privileged to be instrumental in the extensive renovation of Welcome Stadium, the esteemed venue for the University of Dayton’s Track and Football teams. Historically, this stadium was the proud host of the Ohio High School State Championships from 1999 to 2003 before the event transitioned to the Jesse Owens Track.
This monumental project saw the comprehensive replacement of the synthetic turf field, accompanied by the meticulous redesign and replacement of the 8-lane track oval and its associated field events. This 8-lane track has been expertly crafted to adhere to both NCAA and NFHS standards, embellished with distinct multi-colored exchange zones to showcase its elite status.
