Recently Sportworks received two awards from the American Sports Builders Association commending their excellence on two recent projects.
The award program recognizes facilities built or designed by ASBA members which promote excellence on facility construction. Sportworks has been a member of ASBA since 2011 and has received numerous awards.
This year, Sportworks received two awards:
- Multi-Field Facility of the Year: Mercy Health Training Center (FC Cincinnati) – nominated by The Motz Group
- Distinguished Single-Field Facility: Carroll High School Stadium Field – nominated by Sportworks Design
Sportworks was honored to work with The Motz Group and MSA Design on the FC Cincinnati Training Center, and the long-lasting relationship between the team led to an efficient and well-designed project. The project included a synthetic turf field, two sand-based grass fields, a sand-based goalkeeper area, and two small synthetic turf training/stretching/rehab surfaces.
Due to a late start, construction went through the winter and was hampered by wet, frozen soil, among other challenges. Due to the diligent efforts of the entire team, these challenges were able to be overcome to produce an outstanding facility that has received praise throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.
Sportworks couldn’t be more pleased to receive recognition from ASBA.
